Closed and squared to the wall: three seats in a row, the way the room already works.

Laid flat at full depth: a guest bed that is already in the room.
Facing
Both ends turned up and facing each other, flat in between: the middle becomes floor.
Majlis
Split into two loungers across a low table: the seating for talking.
Island
Pulled away from the wall: seating from every side.
